Half of women have cried after sex
Many people experience sadness or anxiety after sex. It is so common that scientists have been studying this phenomenon, called postcoital dysphoria, or PCD. In 2015, Australian psychologists found that 46% of women have experienced PCD at least once in their lifetime. 5 to 10% reported experiencing it within the past month. On the other hand, only 2% of women reported feeling sad after every sexual encounter.
